Success in your business will be dependent on several steps. First and foremost, you must treat this as a business. You must spend the time required in training, prospecting, presenting, and leading. You must be available to your team. You must define your leadership role with the help of your sponsor so that the team you create will be successful. It is a mindset, an attitude and it has to be worked on every single day.
Statistically, in the network marketing business, for every 10 people you talk to, only 1 will want to pursue the business. With Pur3X, these stats appear to be better but it is important to understand, you will hear the word “NO”. Do not let this deter you from your goals. You must create a mindset, an attitude that will motivate you every day. We have suggested some books on the following pages that help with this. Spend time with them every day. Read a small segment in the morning and afternoon. Keep reading them and when you have finished them, read them again. They will help keep the fire burning. If that isn’t enough, call your sponsor. Don’t give up on your dream. The times when things seem darkest are the times when the good stuff is about to break loose. Don’t give up! Remember, if you bring only 1 person.
Some of the people you talk to will only want the product. Others will be motivated by the health aspect of the business and some the financial aspect of the business. You must be prepared to address all of these types. Training and an understanding of what motivates people will help you with this. Realize that the message or method that you would like someone to approach you with may not work for everyone. You must be flexible and have an understanding about how to manipulate your initial connection or your presentation with regard to the people you are speaking with. For example, you would approach a stay-at-home parent different than you would a corporate executive or a young adult. Keeping all of this in mind, if you approach people from your heart with their best interests in mind, you will do just fine.
One last thing, you have a commitment from your sponsor/leadership to work with you to develop your business. However, you also have a role to play in your business. You must do your part and approach your contacts, bring them to the meetings, educate yourself on the product, learn the presentation, and stay positive. Finally, you must duplicate the process that you learn with your team. Your sponsor will not carry you through this process.
